Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello,
I’m posting here because I’m having a serious issue with my GitHub Education Faculty application and I have not received a response through support yet.
My GitHub Education Faculty application was approved on April 3, 2026. However, the approval was revoked overnight without any explanation.
I am a legitimate faculty member at a recognized university in China, and I submitted valid supporting documents. My employment is long-term and does not have a fixed end date.
The main problem now is that I cannot even reapply normally. When I try to apply again, the process redirects me to the Pricing page instead of the Education verification flow. Because of that, I’m unable to resubmit my information through the normal process.
I already contacted GitHub Support and opened a ticket, but it has been about two weeks without any update.
Support ticket: #4241907
GitHub username: @wsl19960308wsl
Application type: Faculty
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help escalate this to the GitHub Education team for a manual review, or help reset my application state so I can re-enter the verification process.
Thank you.
