Did you say they sort of lead-gen permission-gate the access to the "past work" for prospective employers (or any company? That does sound kinda useful. Not quite sure how that would work.

It’s pretty good but a bit overwhelming. If you’re removed a bunch of the statistics in the bottom, half and the see all my repose button it would be a lot better. Relying on text more also would be a way to make it more accessible and more readable.

I like the idea of stats, but I think you would have more impact by moving them down and highlight some personal development achievements, e.g. Your first PR, to what repo and what did you learn from doing it. Also remember to add descriptions to your projects! Folks want to know immediately what the project is about to interest them into click through to it. Keep going! Of course @ayarii. Teachers profiles will always be a bit different to students. IMO (In my Opinion) the aim for Educators profiles are to show their projects, awards as well as how they achieved them. This is where we take more of the typical resume structure to describe why you are exceptional in your work.

I only have a small suggestion is that when you state you are Passionate about teaching code to include how would you show you're passionate. What do you do within your classroom that others would be "Wow, I want to do that too and help my students".

Take this example based on your conversation from the Welcome thread you could say something like:

Passionate about fostering collaborative coding using GitHub and using AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance student engagement and assessment. I work with my students using teaching strategies that prepare students for real-world development challenges.

If you have any classroom challenges or competitions you host for your students, this would be great to see also.

Really helpful post.

I went a bit further and added a GitHub Action to autogenerate the content based on my GH usage/activity. Running on a cron job at 7am every day - so will see how well that works (or doesn't) tomorrow!
