I'm currently studying Computer Science, with a focus on software development, algorithms, and data structures. I'm also exploring topics like artificial intelligence and machine learning. I’m working on my thesis right now which is developing a new system, including developing a web application to track scores for students . I’ve been diving into languages like Python, JavaScript, CSS for various projects. I’m focused on becoming a full-stack developer and eventually working backend but want to pursue full stack developer. I aim to gain practical experience, enhance my problem-solving skills, and collaborate with like-minded individuals in the community. By being part of this community, I hope to learn from others, share my experiences, and grow my network with fellow developers. |

Hello everyone, I am an instructor at Dire Dawa University, and I'm looking forward to joining the GitHub Education community. Here is a bit about my background: What subjects or fields do you teach? Do you incorporate GitHub into your lessons? What programming languages do you focus on? What are you hoping to share or learn from the community? Assistance Needed: Pending Faculty Application I originally applied on March 6th, but I was physically away from our campus at the time. I believe this triggered a location mismatch flag in the automated system. My application has now been stuck in a "Pending review" state for 28 days. I am currently back on campus, but the system is blocking me from canceling the pending application or starting a new one to verify my correct location. Could anyone advise on how I can get this application reset or cleared so I can successfully reapply from my institution's network? Thank you in advance for the help! |

Hi mates, As a student, I am currently focused on building small projects to strengthen my understanding of web development and improve my problem-solving skills. I work mainly with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React, and I’m gradually becoming more comfortable using TypeScript in my projects. My career goal is to become a professional software developer, build real-world applications, and continuously grow my technical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Hi there! I'm Ahmad, a software engineer student at Homs University in Syria. The situation here was terrible for a long time, but things are getting better now — after the fall of the Assad regime, Syria is finally free and opening up to the world step by step, thank God. I am really happy to have received the GitHub Student Developer Pack, as it will help me a lot in my studies. Tools like Swift and other platforms do not work properly in Syria right now, so access to paid features has been quite difficult. I would like to thank my university students and GitHub for giving us this opportunity to prove ourselves.
